Progressive run - return leg faster than the out leg.
Run to end of Baker Street where it joins Clay Hill
Turn around and try to run faster on the way back

Wear your Chingford League bib. If this is your first race - you will be given one. If you had one but lost it - please let the team captain know.
The HQ and the start will be on the right size of the alley (if you go from Cockfosters entrance) not far from the Go Ape.
Usual parking arrangements - there will be parking in Trent Park, but it's limited and you risk getting stuck if it's muddy. Better to walk from Cockfosters. No parking at the hockey centre.
The cafe should be open.
There are toilets at the entrance to the park (please don't use parkland for this).
The course is 7500m (slightly under 5 miles) - suitable for trail shoes and XC spikes.

Starting from the bottom of Cheyne Walk/Uplands Road,
Run along Cheyne Walk to the green triangle
Turn right up the hill (Cranleigh Gardens) then right again onto Langham Gardens
At the end, turn left up the hill and left again onto Onslow Gardens
At the end turn right up the hill (again) onto Cranleigh Gardens
At the end turn right and down the hill, Uplands Way, back to the start
